How is this different from hiring a consultant?
Consultants advise. We lead. We attend your standups, make architecture decisions, hire engineers, and take accountability for delivery. We are your CTO.
How much time does the CTO spend with us?
From 2 days a week to full-time. Most startups start full-time and taper down as we build their internal team.
What happens when we hire our own CTO?
That is the goal. We help you hire them, onboard them, and transfer knowledge. We typically stay for a 1-month handoff overlap to make sure the transition is smooth.
Can you also build the product?
Yes. We can lead your existing team, augment it with our engineers, or build the entire product. Most engagements combine CTO leadership with a Cookielab development team.
