Evenflo: A simple app for busy parents
We built the mobile app behind Evenflo's award-winning smart car seat — recognized by TIME as one of the Best Inventions of 2025.
The challenge
Evenflo, a company with over 100 years of manufacturing experience and a subsidiary of Goodbaby International, needed a reliable mobile app for their next-generation smart car seat — the Revolve360 with SensorSafe technology and later the SensorySoothe. The app had to handle real-time Bluetooth Low Energy communication with the car seat, work flawlessly across both iOS and Android, and meet the highest safety standards. Development and testing spanned across continents, with hardware teams in the US and China and our software team in Prague.
Our solution
We developed a complete cross-platform mobile application that pairs with Evenflo's smart car seats via Bluetooth Low Energy. The app delivers real-time safety notifications — alerting parents if a child is left in the seat, if the harness is incorrectly fastened, or if the seat is improperly installed. We implemented family sharing functionality so multiple caregivers can stay connected, and built a robust signal-loss notification system. When Evenflo launched SensorySoothe in 2024, we extended the platform with new soothing features — light, sound, and vibration controls — that transform the car seat into a calming environment for babies.
